Making it a 2021 goal to thrive as much as my plan Making it a 2021 goal to thrive as much as my plants are 🌿

Last quarter I kind of let my self-care fly out the window. I did school work 24/7! Then when I wasn’t I would spend countless hours endlessly scrolling on social media. I feel pretty good about this first *almost* two weeks of the year. I’ve been making time to exercise, do something just for fun & spend time outside everyday! It’s made me have to be a lot better about my time management.

🌟 What do you do to de-stress? 🌟
I know it’s not even Christmas so it’s a littl I know it’s not even Christmas so it’s a little early for an end of 2020 post, but...

This year was probably the most anxiety inducing of my life (ya know going through a global pandemic and all). I got laid off from my job, had to quarantine within the same room as someone who had COVID for 3 weeks, ruined my hair and had to pay $600 to color correct it and chop it off, and just generally felt shitty, ya know? You probably know.

Buttttt, I’m happy that there were some positives too! Like, I moved out with @danny.crenshaw3! Getting accepted into nursing school & starting were also really big moments for me. & Hazel was born into existence (swipe for a puppy pic)!

Did anything positive happen in your life this year?

Haven’t shown my face in awhile, but I’m back! Haven’t shown my face in awhile, but I’m back! I am finally done with my first quarter of nursing school and I’m ready for this much needed break.

I explored 7 miles of beautiful waterfalls today. It was foggy and misty, but the weather was perfect!

Luckily the trail was pretty empty and most people were also wearing masks 😷

Here is a sneak peek of the first waterfall on the Trail of 10 Waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park before I post a reel!

Morning vs night studying... In the mornings I’ Morning vs night studying...

In the mornings I’m *always* drinking coffee, trying to get the bulk of my work done and not giving in to any distractions.

In nursing school though I feel like there’s work to do 24/7!!

So at night I’m writing or going over notecards and learning objectives. Writing notecards doesn’t require my complete attention since the active learning part for me is going through the notecards so I love to listen to podcasts and it’s actually relaxing. But maybe that’s just the wine tonight 🍷
