Found out I was accepted into the nursing program

Found out I was accepted into the nursing program I applied to today so I celebrated with a new plant + a cocktail on the patio, and street tacos which is basically my favorite way to celebrate at home! 💚

The drink I made is linked in my bio and is a recipe by @girlandtonic_ ! Her blog is the place to be for all your cocktail and mixed drink needs! 🍹

Also! @jojohnsonoverby ‘s houseplant FB group has been giving me major plant inspiration! It made me want one a pilea (pic above). I have a macrame plant hanger by my window and thought it would be the cutest plant addition! 🌿

I feel like when I’m busy juggling lots of thing at once (work, school, etc.) I can squeeze things in and accomplish them. Now that I have so much more free time, I’m not accomplishing really anything and it takes the longest time to do the simplest tasks.
I’ve been getting sucked in to social media and just laying around which hasn’t been the best for me. This week I’m going to focus on doing things outside of laying in bed and on my laptop and focus on being creative.

Things are starting to move to phase 2 here in Washington meaning outdoor recreation is finally reopening! Went searching for waterfalls today, ended up here & it was sprinkling so no one else ventured out. Wrapped up the day with a FaceTime happy hour so it was a great day! 🌿💙

From the summer before last when we could still travel. 💙 At first I really didn’t like Paris and I ended up there by accident. Luckily, after a couple of days I warmed up to it. I won’t be traveling (extensively) for a couple of years now, but would want to go again someday when I’m not on a solo backpacking trip.

Going to try spending today finishing my book 💙 I thought I would finish more books with all this free time, but I’ve actually read *a lot* less and that time has been replaced with Animal Crossing 🤷🏻‍♀️
